Totseat creator wins Red magazine Hot Women award
Rachel Jones, creator of the award-winning Totseat travel highchair, has won Red's Hot Women award for overseas business success and expansion.
"We're all chuffed to bits to receive this great award," said Rachel. "We had no idea, when our little chair harness was being developed at the kitchen table, that one day it would be an award-winning product, used all over the globe!"
Rachel was selected for the award for her innovation, creativity and ability to turn a great idea into an international business success. The award-winning Totseat travel highchair is now sold in 29 countries world-wide and, despite the recession, Totseat Ltd has enjoyed a growth sales year of 140%, with export driving the majority of uplift. The reach of the brand - from its established customer base in the UK and Europe - has now grown, with distributors in Korea, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.
Rachel was presented with the award at a ceremony in London, by celebrity mum Jools Oliver (pictured with Rachel), who now has her very own Totseat!
The Red's Hot Women inaugural awards were organised by Red magazine and sponsored by Calvin Klein Euphoria.
